Where has the time gone?

I can't believe how much has happened since my last update! After winning the Wildcard Chart on theaudience.co.nz in May, I was able to use the winnings to pay for the recording of my next single 'Fire' along with shooting a stunning music video - both of which will be released October 16th!  

In between the recording and the video shoot, we packed up our house in Beachlands and moved to Raglan.  We have built a completely off-grid home that is powered by solar and wind, and it's the realization of a dream we have had for years. This place is so beautiful and very inspiring for new songs!  I do find myself spending a lot of time chatting with cows and sheep these days, and I'm fairly sure my husband was introducing the seedlings to each other as he planted our veggie patch.  Perhaps we need to get out more.

Just before moving, I went on a tour of the lower North Island and had great fun playing in venues and living rooms all over.  I absolutely loved it, and I can see more touring on the horizon for sure.  I feel like the last few months of 2015 are going to be the busiest yet, and I'm ready for it!  I've put some live footage from the tour up on my YouTube channel so flick on over and check them out (and please subscribe!).
